House of Bebe - Company Message

As with all baby products, slings must be used correctly and responsibly. Please take the time to become familiar with your sling and ensure that your child is encased in the deep pouch.  Your child's face should always be visible and not pressed against your body or fabric.
Cradle Carry
For newborns, this position reminds them of the secure environment of the womb and can aid in settling them.
(These instructions suit if you are right handed)

  1. Start with the sling folded with the "House of Bebe" label on the outside.
  2. Put your right arm through the sling and bring the seam line of the pouch to your centre/belly button
  3. Place the inside fabric layer high on your chest.
  4. Hold your baby with their head on the same side as the shoulder strap
  5. Hold their feet close to their chest and gently lift their bottom into the pouch of the sling
  6. With your right hand, support your baby’s head whilst you lay their torso into the sling
  7. Your baby should be laying flat with their chin away from their chest.

Modified Cradle Carry

As your baby gets older they will want to look at everything. It's all part of their development! When your baby has some head control they will love the view from this position.

  1. Start with the sling folded with the "House of Bebe" label on the outside.
  2. Place the folded sling over your shoulder with the seam in line with your belly button.
  3. Hold your child in front of you with their feet tucked up to their chest and lower them into the sling so their bottom is in the deepest part of the sling (along the seam line).

The baby will sit with their feet close to their chest which is quite comfortable for them.

Hip Sitting Position
Your child will be ready for this position when they have good head and neck strength.
